Steve is the CEO of Princeton Consultants, www.princeton.com, which he founded in 1981. The firm blends AI, software development and management consulting to help executives achieve transformational improvement in service and efficiency. As a trusted advisor, technologist, strategist, project director and quality officer, Steve works with leaders of many of the best-managed, most innovative companies and with organizations such as the US Census Bureau, with whom Steve became an INFORMS Edelman Laureate in 2022 for helping optimize the 2020 US Census.

Steve wrote The Optimization Edge: Reinventing Decision Making to Maximize All Your Company’s Assets to explain optimization to a general business executive. The book is available on Amazon Kindle. Steve graduated in 1980 from Princeton University, where he serves on the Advisory Board of the Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering.
